The Sarabite: Towards an Aesthetic Christianity

There is a continuous attraction, beginning with God, going to the world, and ending at last with God, an attraction which returns to the same place where it began as though in a kind of circle. -Marsilio Ficino

Against Effeminate Priests

Pues no has curado de generar pesares

Al pobre feligrés atribulado,

Aunque no hay cura para el mal causado

Cuídate al fin de generar más males.

Si a natura rebelde asignares

Mis disputas por cuanto he señalado

For you have not stopped creating tribulations
For the poor parishioner so disturbed
Although there is no cure for this intentioned evil
Be careful not to create more evils.

If you attribute to rebel nature
My disputes that I have pointed out to you
One piece of advice I’ll give you: leave it alone
And sin in more natural ways.

If you are going to sin do not disturb
What is attributed to you as a man
No matter how modern you consider yourself.

The relative and absolute have traded places
Against nature in the conciliar halls,
But not for that do you have to become a faggot. (lit. male whore)

Come to think of it, this might be a joke played by my friend. I'll post it anyway since it is a good poem with a good message.

Oh, by the way, this poem was found on my friend's blog, Juicy Judges from Argentina, link to the right.

AV,

C'mon, broham. You've got to give us bourgeois crackers a translation so that we can partake of the fun.

Great pic, though.

Translation pending.

Blogging is going to be tough in the next few days. I am running on only four hours of sleep.
